Today, the Deputy Commissioner of District Kharmang awarded a Certificate of Appreciation to Akhundian Foundation Pakistan in recognition of its outstanding role as one of the first responders during the devastating floods in Gilgit-Baltistan, and for its unmatched flood relief activities across the entire Baltistan region.

The certificate acknowledges Akhundian Foundation Pakistan’s swift and sustained response in flood-affected areas, including the distribution of food rations, organization of free medical camps, provision of essential medicines, and its close coordination—shoulder to shoulder—with the Health Department across all regions during the emergency.

In addition, the Director of the Health Department of Baltistan, along with the District Health Officers of District Kharmang, District Ghanche, District Shigar, and Skardu, collectively awarded Letters of Appreciation to Akhundian Foundation Pakistan.
